Southern Region Surf League
St Clair is sending for the first time two teams to the Southern Region Surf League being held this weekend in Christchurch.
Both teams of 11 club members have great strength, with the St Clair White team made up of mostly Open competitiors with the Black team made up of our best under 19 athletes.
St Clair also has a number of other athletes racing for the two Otago All Stars teams travelling up.
Events and athletes to look our for include Ryan Shanks and Carla Laughton (White) in the Ski Relay, Joe Kemp (White) in the beach sprint and the both sets of female surf teams.
Results will be available on Monday.

St Clair Christmas Party
The annual St Clair Christmas Party is to be held this Saturday night, 17th December, starting at 7pm.
There is a $5 entry charge to be paid at the door. This will cover BBQ and entertainment costs.
All club members and friends are welcome to attend.
Opening Day
The official opening day for our centenary season will be held on Saturday 29 October 2011.

CLUB REGISTRATIONS
Registrations are from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
Payment of 2011/12 subscriptions are due.

LIFEGUARD REFRESHER
Our Annual Lifeguard refresher is from 12.30 to 2.30.
The refresher will be run as a patrol group exercise, i.e., the run swim run component will be done as a group. It is not a pass / fail test - it is designed to refresh our skills and have a bit of fun and meet the requirements as members of SLSNZ.
All new lifeguards are encouraged to attend as this is a great opportunity to meet the other members in your patrol.

White Island Race
Annual St Clair Surf Life Saving Club White Island Race.
5 Kilometer journey around Dunedin's famous landmark.
Open to all types of approved surf craft and swimmers.

High Performance Camp
St Clair SLSC will he holding a training camp in the second week of the school holidays focusing on the development of our under 19 and under 16 high performance athletes.
