St Clair Wins "Bone of Contention"

Last Sunday the prestigious "Bone of Contention" race was held at Kaka Point. This is a canoe race, with the course around Queens Rock. This year the compeition was limited to monohull canoes only and was especially singnificant as it was celebrating Kaka Pt SLSC's 75th Jubilee. The St Clair team had a strong paddle after rounding the rock, passing the other crews and finishing strong to win the race. "The Bone" can be viewed in the upstairs lounge.
