St Clair Retains Bone of Contention.
Congratulations to all who competed at the Kaka Point Competition held in the weekend particuarly the Bone of Contention crew of Finn "Mr Olympic" O'Connor, Gavin "bushman" Mason, Graeme "salty dog" Newton and the returning prodigal son Heath "ladies man" Ratten who took out the race in dominant fashion from the Brighton crew.
All in all it was a fantastic day of racing with all St Clair competitiors showing that they are in great shape as we approach the competition phase of our season.
Particular mention must be made to those who were competiting in their first event at the beach for the White Caps well done to Adam, Michelle and Hannah K.
We look forward to being able to report more successes as we move through the season.

The first event of the SI IRB Race Series in Christchurch on January 12th
South Island Surf League competiting for Otago also in Christchurch on January 13th
