Centenary 2010/2011

Centenary 2010/2011St Clair was one of the pioneering clubs in the surf movement in New Zealand. This movement began in the summer of 1910/1911 therefore St Clair SLSC (along with New Brighton, Lyall Bay, Worser Bay and Castlecliff) will celebrate one hundred years of continous service this coming summer.

St Clair's centenary celebrations will commence with the holding of the White Island Race on Saturday October 23 2010.

The official club centenary event will be held on Friday the 8th, Saturday the 9th, and Sunday the 10th of April 2011.
