Lifeguarding at St Clair
St Clair Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer life guard service which provides life guarding services at St Clair beach and its surrounding environmentFrom early November through to March St Clair members provide a valuable service to the general public.
The voluntary patrol hours at St Clair Beach are Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00PM.
All active club members over the age of 14 are eligible to complete their Surf Lifeguard Award and join one of our voluntary patrol teams.

St Clair Beach is also patrolled during the summer school holiday period on weekdays between 11:00AM and 7:00PM through the Surf Life Saving Otago Professional Life Guard programme.
St Clair Surf Life Saving also has a active callout list which provides emergency response to any incidents reported.
St Clair is also able to provide life guard support for any events being held in the Dunedin region. Anyone interested in ultilising St Clair life guarding services is encouraged to contact our club administrator on stclairslsc@xtra.co.nz
