LOCATION CHANGE!

The event is now to be held at Warrington, see Event Flyer. We are choosing the location that we believe will have the friendliest conditions for our young competitors. The tide and swell conditions are not looking favourable for St Clair on Sunday. 

Please note that this event is still being 'Hosted by St Clair' therefore as host club we need to bring food to feed our friendly surf officials and event guards. Home baking always goes down a treat!

All Juniors are welcome. The focus of these events is participation so come along and give it a go!

Useful information:

8:00 - Arrive on the beach (we will be setting up our big tent so please lend a hand)

8:15 - Competitors hand numbering SC-01, SC-02 etc

8:30 - Warm up

8:45 - Managers Meeting (we find out here if it's sand or water events first)

9:00 - Event start

Please bring: wetsuit, hi-vis vest, club cap with 200m badge sewn to the side (if you have it), black T-shirt and shorts for sand events, black swimwear, goggles, swim cap, towel, water bottle, healthy food and snacks, sunscreen, warm jacket or blanket

Interclub Notes:

• All relays can be mixed - boys, girls, clubs!
• Kids can compete up an age group in relays only
• No points for interclubs, Otago awards based on Otago Champs
• Depending on numbers, events may be mixed ages and boys / girls
• Program subject to change based on surf or beach conditions

Board Usage:

• U8: Boogie boards
• U9 / U10: Short course races can use boogie up to 6'6" foamies
• Long course races can use up to 8'10" foamies (no glass boards)
• U12: Up to 8'10" foam or glass boards
• U14: 8'10" or 10'6" foam or glass boards
