Annual General Meeting

The 104th Annual General Meeting of the St Clair Surf Life Saving Club to be held at the club rooms at 3pm on Sunday, 28 June 2015.

Lifeguard Award Training

St Clair will be commencing another programme of lifeguard award training soon to bring through our next class of lifeguards to St Clair Beach. The first date for this programme will be Sunday, 26 July.

Jaffa Race

Surf Lifesaving is fortunate enough to be associated with the Jaffa race again this year which is being held mid July.

As part of the collection efforts the club will be providing with the junior (under 14) and senior (over 14) members who sell the most tickets with new club togs in appreciation of their efforts. Value up $100 each, for families with more than one child the $100 can be shared towards the cost of purchasing togs.

A club collection event will be held on Sunday, prior to the AGM from midday. Please make every effort to donate some time on Sunday.

Super 15 Playoff Games

The Super Rugby Semi Finals will be shown live this Saturday night at the club lounge.

  • Hurricanes vs Brumbies at 7:55
  • HIGHLANDERS vs Waratahs at 9:55

All club members and friends are welcome!

First Aid Training Course

The previously cancelled First Aid training course will now be held on Saturday, 22 and Sunday, 23 August; 9am start both days.

The cost of this course will be $110 if Otago/Southland clubs have 25 people attend. This course will award you with First Aid Level 1 and 2. If yo wish to be part of this course please email the club by Thursday, 2 July.

Assisting the Club

Currently there are a number of items which the club requires assistance with as outlined below:

  • Recently the club purchased a new IRB trailer. If anyone is in the North Island and returning to Dunedin and able to assist with towing this back.
  • A second hand computer is required to be used for displaying information to our club members.
  • Second hand furniture is always welcomed at the club for use either in the downstairs patrol room or upstairs lounge.
