Equipment Grants

The club is fortunate to have received significant support recently from the following trusts for our operations. Bendigo Valley Foundation, Air Rescue Services, New Zealand Racing Board, the Southern Trust, the Southern Victorian Trust and also via Surf Life Saving New Zealand.

Up Coming Courses

Several courses aimed at up-skilling our members are being run over the next few months.

Up-coming Confirmed training

  • Patrol Captains Course: 3 September, registrations due 26 August
  • Lifeguard Instructors Course: 4 September, registrations due 26 August
  • First Aid Level 1: 10 and 11 September, registrations due 22 August
  • First AId Level 2: 17 September, registrations due 26 August
  • Introduction to Surf Coaching, 18 September, registrations open.

Patrol Roster

The process of working out the 2016/2017 patrol roster is currently underway. To ensure the accuracy of the roster if you intend on patrolling this season please get in contact with Lifeguarding Convener, Ossian Woods.

Skeggs Foundation Grants

Applications for athletes or coaches can be found on the Sport Otago website at Skeggs Foundation Inc and close on September 20, however, if you are applying for funding to do with Surf Life Saving, your application needs to be submitted to Sam Clutterbuck 5:00pm Friday, 9 September 2016.
