Membership information for St Clair SLSC

We are always looking for new members to join our club.

From the age of 7 years children can join our Surf Life Saving Club to participate in Junior Surf. We encourage children to have fun and develop their skills, so they can enjoy the beach and one day might be able to save someone else too. It’s about developing tomorrow’s lifeguards and opening up a whole new world to children.

Our club also has a senior programme which caters for all other members from the ages of 14 and up. Members of our senior programme can become involved in anyway that they wish, members do not have to consider themselves as elite athletes as the lifeguarding and social aspects of our club is just as important to us as the sporting side.

Members over the age of 14 also have the oppourtunity to gain their surf life guard award and become involved in one of our eight rostered patrols through the summer. Further information on becoming a surf life guard is available from the Surf Life Saving New Zealand website.

Currently our club is running programmes for our Junior Surf members, members looking at gaining their surf life guard award as well as development and athletic programmes for our current members.

An online membership form for Surf Life Saving New Zealand should be completed to sign up for St Clair SLSC.

Club members also complete a registration form each year to keep details up to date and to process subs payments. 2016/2017 Registration Form.
