Big Month Ahead for Trembath - 27th Aug 2014

St Clair's promising young athlete Andrew Trembath starts a huge month in his sporting career tomorrow with the first day of Junior Pan Pacific Games for Swimming in Hawaii. Preparation for Pan Pacs started with a staging camp in Auckland for 4 days followed by event preparation Hawaii.

During the Pan Pacs event, Trembath is racing in 100 meter backstroke, 200 backstroke and 4 X 100 meter medley relay. At the conclusion of Pan Pacs he will fly to Wellington to race in the New Zealand Short Course Swimming champs over 4 days from the 2nd September.

On the 8th of September he will fly to France for the World Surf Life Saving Champs being held in Montpeiller to race as part of the New Zealand Youth Team. Life Saving Worlds starts with 8 days of race prep with racing itself starting on the 17th. During Worlds he will race the 200 meter obstacles, 100 meter rescue medley, 100 meter manikin carry with fins, 4 X 25 manikin relay and 4 X 50 medley and obstacle relays in the pool followed by the ski race, surf race and tube and board rescue events at the beach.

Andrew is quietly confident about his chances of success over the month.
